Saudi Cable Group has successfully engineered and installed High Voltage projects in the United States, most countries in Europe and Asia.  Being a multi-national Group, we have the capability to design, manufacture, test and commission to various international standards:  For example we are just as familiar with IEC, as with AIEC, NFC, BS or DIN/VDE or in communications we can manufacture either “Loose Tube” or “Light Pack” and there are not many manufacturers who can.

How has that come about?  This is exactly how:   Being located in the Middle East, we found that the relationships between countries, which were forged in the past has made both the power and telecommunications systems of each country different.  Due to these relationships, we have has to accommodate ourselves with various standards and totally different specifications in manufacturing.

This experience has provided us with this unique opportunity to be able to engineer and manufacture to various world standards and specifications.

And what about terrain and environment.  We have seen them all from the hash environments of the Middle East, where temperatures reach 50O   Centigrade or below zero at night.  We have manufactured specialized conductors for the cold environments of Scandinavian Countries to these of the deserts in Sahara (North Africa) and Saudi Arabia.  We have installed underground high voltage cables in countries having high water tables and very humid costal environments of Africa and Asia, as well as mountainous terrains and desert sands..
