SCC's continuous casting copper rod mill - using the Krupp/Hazelett contriod system - is one of the most technically advanced facilities of its kind and produces 60,000 tons per year of premium quality tough pitch, fine grained (8mm) copper rod for leading international manufacturers. This plan is matched by a similarly advanced plastics compounding facility capable of producing up to 24,000 tons of thermoplastic compounds a year. Both plants in turn are complemented by a cable reel construction facility manufacturing up to 60,000 wooden reels and pallets from raw timber supplies. Today, all three elements are the building blocks in SCC Material's total commitment to full service solutions - not only in premium cable-making components, but also in an ever-widening range of finished products and services. |
