Saudi Cable Company announces that Mr Saleh Eid Al Hussaini has submit his resignation on 2016/07/28 from his position of (Independent member) of the Board of Directors of the Company due to his official obligations that restricted his attendance at Board meetings of the company during the recent past. The Board of Directors has with regret accepted his decision and resolved as per resolution MA -T /2016-8 dated 2016/08/17 that Mr. Dionysius M.Metzemeakers be appointed as a member of the Board, and that he also be appointed as Managing Director(Executive Member) of the Company with effect from the date of the above resolution. Mr. Metzemeakers have 32 years experience, including fourteen years in the cable industry, where he served as executive director for global companies cables in the last ten years of it. The companys Board of Directors thanks Mr Saleh Eid Al Hussaini for his contribution to the growth of the Company.
Saudi Cable Company is grateful to have participated in an event organized with the Saudi Exports Development Authority (SEDA) hosted in Jordan.
The event initiated by SEDA aims at connecting Saudi exporters with potential buyers to increase the total number of exports in the Kingdom.
We had the privilege to discuss business partnerships with various sectors including power & utilities, oil & gas, telecommunications, distribution and civil construction.
We are thankful for the event organization led by the SEDA for this opportunity to expand the our business network in foreign markets.
SCC welcomed the representatives of Riyadh municipality to its factory. The aim of the visit is to comply with the procedures to have SCC approved by Riyadh Municipality for lightning cables.
We had the great privilege of welcoming our POSCO partners from South Korea. The four day visit was successful as we embarked on a journey across our different offices and manufacturing facilities. Our quality control and safety departments showcased in details our process of manufacturing to ensure that our quality is abiding with the highest international standards of manufacturing.
The highlight of our visit was hosting our POSCO partners and strengthening our mutual understanding and existing relationship for many years to come.

One of our most anticipated day during the month of Ramadan is the “SCC Iftar Day”. Where tens and hundreds of our employees join together to break their fast upon sunset prayer.
Employees from various departments took host of the event and seized the opportunity to encage with their other fellow colleagues.
During the holy month of Ramadan, we have organized our internal football tournament “SCC Champions League”. The main aim of this tournament was to award our internal employees for their hard work and continuous commitment to the excellence of their work.
The tournament lasted for one week and hosted 8 teams, each team representing different departments in the company. All employees had an equal chance to participate and shine.
The awards were attractive for the champions team, highest goal scorer and player of the tournament.
The results were fantastic and we are looking forward for organizing next years tournament.
